Elphinstone Enterprises has a workshop located at Burnie Wharf where we service the needs of our major client Strait Link shipping (Formerly TOLL).
Maintenance and painting of a fleet of roll trailers used to transfer shipping containers to and from the ships.
Maintenance of the associated equipment at the wharf workshop e.g. gooseneck equipment used to haul roll trailers, lashing gear and wharf equipment.
Fabrication of cargo handling equipment including – lashing points, mushrooms, goosenecks, trailer stands and cargo securing chains.
Our maintenance and fabrication team work to strict KPI’s and we work together to provide cost savings to our client.
As the Equipment Services Manager for Strait Link Shipping I have been utilizing the services of Elphinstone Enterprises since the company’s inception in back in July 2011. The company has become a true one stop shop with services such as general and heavy fabrication of steel, stainless steel and aluminium, abrasive blasting, powder coating and industrial painting as well as general construction and fencing. I have observed the steady growth of Elphinstone Enterprises and the range of services the company is able to provide. They have been involved over the years in many major ship and shore based projects and continue to be an integral part of our ongoing contractor family.
